Our Values

Our goal here at Daybreak Farms is to provide you with wholesome, nutritious, and delicious vegetables. This starts with soil health. Plants will produce more nutrient-dense food when grown in healthy soil. Some of the components we look at are soil structure and organic matter levels. We use numerous cover crops in our greenhouse and garden to increase the diversity in our soil. Certain cover crops improve soil structure, while others act as host plants for beneficial insects. These beneficial insects are crucial to our pest management system (i.e. ladybugs eat the aphids). Using these techniques is what allows us to grow your food without the use of pesticides/herbicides.
